1. Our service

These terms cover the Minebud website, account dashboard and Minecraft Bedrock worlds we host. When you create an account or use our hosting service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use hosting. Minebud is operated by the person or business identified in the Contact section. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.

The current offering is a free hosting tier with limited capacity. Paid subscriptions and payment collection are not enabled. Accounts with retained servers receive a zero-total USD draft invoice with a PDF by email every 30 days, starting 30 days after the first retained server was created. Sleeping servers are included. These drafts require no payment and are not tax invoices while business details remain placeholders. A feature shown as coming soon does not guarantee that feature. Any future paid offering will disclose its price, renewal, cancellation and refund terms before an order.

Minebud is independent of Mojang and Microsoft. You must have the necessary Minecraft and Microsoft account rights and follow the Minecraft EULA and Minecraft Usage Guidelines.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide an email address you control, complete verification and keep account information accurate. Protect your password, email account, authenticator and recovery codes. Do not share verification codes, impersonate another person or use another person's account without authorization. Contact us promptly if you suspect compromise.

Minimum account age and parental-permission requirements: [to be confirmed by the owner before full publication].

You are responsible for activity you authorize and for managing access to your world. You are not responsible under these terms for activity caused by our failure to meet obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded.

3. Free-world limits

The free tier allows one free world per person, account, verified mailbox and source network. We use account, mailbox and network signals to enforce this; shared household, school or carrier networks may share one allowance. Gmail aliases count as the same mailbox, and IPv6 addresses within the same /64 share a network allowance.

Do not create extra accounts, cycle addresses or use VPNs, proxies, datacenter connections or other intermediaries to bypass allocation limits. Known proxy, VPN and hosting networks cannot allocate a free world. Checks can make mistakes; contact us for a review rather than trying to evade them.

  • World storage is limited to 5 GB as enforced by the platform. Save growth may be interrupted at the limit.
  • A free server sleeps after approximately five minutes without players. Joining a naturally sleeping world can request a wake-up, subject to capacity and eligibility. A manually stopped world must be started from the dashboard.
  • The service admits no more than 25 simultaneous free servers. Availability and start times are not guaranteed.
  • Free worlds are eligible for permanent deletion after 60 days without player activity. Opening the dashboard, editing settings or pressing Start does not reset this period.
  • After a requested world deletion has completed, its account, mailbox and network allowance has a 24-hour cooldown before replacement. Deleting an account does not bypass this rule.
  • Free worlds have an enforced 5,000 × 5,000 Overworld area and 10,000 × 10,000 Nether and End areas. View distance, simulation distance and other resource limits are managed by the service.

Limits may be adjusted for security, stability or capacity. We will describe material ongoing changes here and provide notice through the service or email where appropriate; urgent protective changes may take effect immediately.

4. Acceptable use

Use the service lawfully and respect other users, players and intellectual property rights. You must not:

  • Distribute illegal material, sexual content involving minors, malware, stolen credentials or content you lack permission to host.
  • Harass, threaten, exploit or unlawfully disclose personal information about another person.
  • Attack services, scan or access systems without permission, bypass isolation or authentication, or interfere with other customers.
  • Use the service for mining, spam, unrelated workloads, artificial player activity or automation intended to defeat sleep, storage, retention or free-tier limits.
  • Abuse verification emails, repeatedly submit unwanted messages, trade free allocations, or evade a suspension.

Report suspected vulnerabilities privately using the contact details below. Do not access other users' data, disrupt services or publish credentials as part of testing.

5. Your content and world data

You retain your rights in content you supply. You give us the permission necessary to store, run, transmit, protect and remove that content to provide the hosting service and enforce these terms. This does not transfer ownership of your content or grant us a right to sell it.

You are responsible for permissions for your world, addons and player content, and for informing your players about your own rules and data practices. Do not store information that is especially sensitive or unrelated to operating a Minecraft world.

When enabled, the backup feature allows up to 100 recovery points and 25 GB of retained compressed storage per world in private Cloudflare R2 storage. Automatic backups are optional, default off and offer 1, 6, 12 or 24-hour intervals; sleeping worlds stay asleep. Backups contain world saves, not addons, server settings or account data. Restoration requires a stopped server and replaces its save. Backup availability and successful recovery are not guaranteed. Keep independent copies of valuable content wherever a supported transfer method is available. Deleted worlds may not be recoverable.

When enabled, addons have aggregate limits of 20 MB for resource packs and 5 MB for behavior packs, with at most 32 installed packs. Quotas account for source, expanded and output sizes, not just upload size. Resource-pack artifacts are delivered through a public CDN; do not include private information in them. Pack encryption does not prevent players from copying content.

6. Availability and changes

We work to maintain the service, but free hosting has no uptime or recovery-time guarantee. Maintenance, updates, capacity limits, security incidents, network failures and third-party changes may interrupt access or affect compatibility. Experimental or planned features may change or be withdrawn.

We may suspend, restrict or remove access where reasonably needed to address abuse, security risks, legal obligations or a material breach of these terms. Where practical and safe, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve the issue. You can contact us to request review of an allocation denial or suspension.

7. Ending your use

You may stop using the service at any time, revoke sessions in the dashboard and request deletion of a world. For account deletion or a data request, contact us; there is currently no self-service account-deletion button. We may need to verify that the request comes from the account holder.

Deletion and retention follow the Privacy Policy, including the free-tier abuse-prevention cooldown. Deleting an account schedules its hosted worlds for removal. An account closure, suspension or service discontinuation does not promise a recoverable copy of a deleted world. Where reasonably practicable, we will give notice of a planned service shutdown so you can ask about available export options.

8. Responsibility and your rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the free service is provided as available without a promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every purpose. We are not responsible for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control or losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you began using the service.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud, or removes mandatory consumer or privacy rights. We do not require you to waive those rights or agree to mandatory arbitration. Applicable law determines your rights and the courts available to you; these terms do not force you to give up protections that apply where you live.

9. Changes to these terms

The effective date identifies this version. We will publish updates on this page and give notice of material changes through the service or email where appropriate. Changes will not retroactively remove accrued rights. If you do not accept revised terms, stop using the service and contact us about closing your account and any available data-transfer options.
